I ordered the body side moldings when I bought the car, they get installed next weekend. I did it to protect the door edges from getting dinged when I open them and bang against someone else's car (which I try not to, but it happens...). I saw a YouTube video of a C with the moldings and they didn't look too bad. Who else here got them? Was it worthwhile?
Yes. After I made the deal I then told salesman I needed those thrown in. Myself, I like the wide ones from Toyota Dan
I think moldings make your car look like it from the eightys. I'm just very careful when I open my doors. Also once the moldings get nicks and scratches is just as ugly as having your door damaged. SPH-L900 ? 2
I have 1-1/4" color coordinated (white) body side moldings. I already noted a "would-a been dent door ding", but the side molding black mark was easily removed with elbow grease. I'm not overly anal, but hate dents in new car doors. To me, the moldings make the car look finished and extra optioned.
