I considered a rear view mirror cam, but ultimately purchased a I1000/F70 dual camera on a suction cup. The second camera is mounted on the rear lift glass and able to take exceptional video on the rear traffic. Having an auto DVR camera at your side gives you a feel of confidence when it comes fairness & security on the roadways. The video has 720p resolution. The rear camera is attached on the hatchback glass with adhesive. Cable to the camera is routed under the frame molding all along the left side of the car. The camera stays in place when opening the hatchback with no issues. I have factory tint on the rear glass that does not appear to affect the video.
