Got my 2012 (Prius 4) at the end of March... One of the last "new" 2012 around. - Silver - Dark grey interior - Solar panel option Have gotten no lower than 51.3 miles to the tank so far and the computer seems to match darn close to my calculations... so much so that I attributed the negligible differences to the "topping" effect (pumping past the auto shut-off to round-up to the next whole dollar). Best tank so far was 54.7. I got the windows tinted yesterday, but that's all I've really done to the car so far other than the "Prius" applique to the rear bumper and a repair to the wheel-well liner I had to make after running it up on the curb for my driveway. I may make a couple of minor changes to improve the "looks" of this car as time goes on, but I'm not interested in making too many changes. This is my commuter car. As I told my wife - I know it's slow and not considered the sportiest car on the road, but I'm not out racing it or trying to pick up dates... and I have an antique sports car that I drive on weekends when the weather is nice. I fall in love with this car every time I pull up to the pump!
Congrats. I have the same car and I must admit the best part is my fuel costs lowered 2/3. Can't beat that.
I have driven so much more with the Prius. Nothing too crazy, in 17 months I now have over 14000 miles. My commute right now is 100 each week...
I have the same year/model/level as your's - picked it up in November 2012 @ Toyota of Laurel (Carmax). Have 20k miles on it as I commute a little over 600 miles a week. I absolutely love everything about this Prius. I tinted the windows, installed a shark fin antenna, removed the hub caps and put on chrome center caps and installed blue trim on the rims. Makes my Prius "unique".
