I was cruising down a local parkway with cyclists at the edge of the road. I was testing the cruise control. At certain points on the roadway, the laser system would cause the car to drop speed and slow up fast. It was a 60km/38mph speed limit. So is the system that sensitive that it reacted upon seeing the bikes? Or is there another reason such as speed was too slow? Brian 2012 Prius v TT (touring/Tech)
We have the laser cruise control in one of our vehicles and it does what you stated. There is also a setting to where you can set the desired distance before the ACC activates to slow down or to accelerate.
