Toyota CARE = BBQ ribeye & chicken

    I live 2 1/2 hours from Toyota dealer so made appointment one week in advance. Arrived and I was under the impression that the 5000 mile service was oil change, filter etc. NOPE that's at 10,000 miles. Well it just so happened that the owner of Teton Toyota was BBQing ribeye steaks and chicken for anyone for lunch. The head honcho for Northwest Toyota Sales did the BBQ due to Teton Toyota being the Number 1 dealer in the Northwest area. Boy was that a delicious steak!!. My wife and Tasha our dog agree.
    I conversed with Mario (the dealership owner that does his own TV commercials with his Labrador Retriever) and he knew that I was from Salmon Idaho (mentioned he saw my lic plate) but what really blew me away was he mentioned about my Ford escape I traded in way back in March and a recent graduate purchased the Escape. This dealership is number one on my list for sure.
    Oh yea his dog Buddy was there as well. The dealership has a log bed in the showroom for him as the dog roams around the dealership freely.
    We planned on ging to Subway for lunch but FREE Ribeye steak sure sounded like a better idea.

    How can you beat a free Ribeye? Answer..... you cant!

    2 1/2 hours, i think i'd make a vacation out of it!:p i'm fretting about the dealership being 5 miles or 10 miles.:LOL:

    You know your from Idaho when you use hours instead of mileage. 10 - 15 miniutes from dealership!! sounds too close by my standards--lol
    Oh and the dealer called me today to see if I was satisfied with my 5000 mile service and is there anything else she could assist me with. NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE.
    Have bought several new cars(Chevy and one Ford )but never got a phone call about how satisfied was was or any phone call period.
    This is my FIRST foreign car I have ever purchased. My brother stated that he never in a million years thought I would buy a Toyota. Is this standard practice??

    Driving 5 hours for a tire rotation nothing much else .... seem little excessive at my first service i did asked for an oil change it is foolish not to do for $29.99 (next is included so I will have two short oil period when the car is new)

    You make advance appointment, but did not check the maintenance booklet what is needed ... lucky they did not upsale you with something... they do that (or at least try)


    OK Steak was a bonus

    That steak was so tender, I could cut it with a fork!! and our dog Tasha really appreciated the lunch as well--lol
    Teton Toyota has been number one in the newspapers PEOPLES CHOICE --NEW CAR DEALERSHIP several years running. The owner has an interest in his customers. He knew what my car was and what I traded in when I purchased in March. That says a-lot in my book. An owner that cares about his customers. You don't see that very often. AND I got a call the following day if I was satisfied with my service!!
