I had a blast at our "Prius Rally"! Laughter everywhere, great people, vendors, food, gifts, and booze.... What more can you ask for? It's awesome to see how the product Prius can bring together people from many backgrounds to network and meet one another. Thank you Danny, Russell, Kimberly, Rodney, Justin, and all the others that helped make this event worthwhile. Always good to put faces with people on Prius Chat! Happy Fathers Day! This was a wonderful event. Many thanks to Danny, Russell, and their team (incl. Russell's wife Kimberly, Rodney, Justin, and Jonathan) who worked so hard to make this a success. Thanks also to Toyota for sponsoring the event and providing the test drive vehicles and staff on Saturday. It was great to catch up with some of the PC regulars who I had met 4 years ago and also make new contacts. I'm impressed by some of the attendees who flew in from the East to participate. Attendees and guests enjoyed a free flow of wine and beer each evening, great catering, informative events, and six Toyota Prius family and RAV4 EV vehicles that were available for test driving. I'm looking forward to the next!
I attended a SLKWorld.com get together about five years ago. It was fantastic to meet everyone and have fun. My car interest is now the Prius and would love to attend a meet if much closer than California. Regardless of the location, thanks to those who made it happen and those that attended.
Glad you all had a good time. Just curious, was there any discussion of brand new hybrid models coming out? Any hints dropped?
Wow. From the pics in the other thread, looked like a great event! Looks like there was a lot of work and planning involved. Too bad I couldn't be there. It was not only the class I enrolled in that meets only on Saturdays but also there was uncertainty about whether I might be working at a new job (not working at the moment) and thus unable to take any time off.
thank you everyone. I met many warm, welcoming and caring people. Or at least, now I have faces to attach to screen names. I enjoyed cementing these virtual relationships into real ones.

I would like this thing to come out by fall of 2014 too, but others have said, it is going to be Spring 2015 as a 2016 model. Now, Hope the Toyota NS4 does come out by Fall 2014 as a 2015 model, Speculating/wishing!.
We don't really know, only speculating based on time frame of 3rd gen launch. Fall 2014 releasefor a 4th gen Prius would be very normal. Many cars have 5 year gen cycle including Camry and Accord. NS4 points toward a plug-in hybrid. Sounds expensive. $$

Thanks to all the organizers for a wonderful first TGB4 Prius Event. It was a lot of fun with interesting vendors and tech sessions and interacting with other Prius owners. It also didn't hurt that we were also surrrounded by groves of orange and citrus trees, beautiful venue. Yes, 25lbs of oranges for $5.
