Well my 2010 Prius V is getting picked up tomorrow and is going to a new home. I bought her in October with 32,395 miles on it and it now has 59,500. It's been quite a journey touring the entire Midwest numerous times with the Prius. Tomorrow morning is my last Milwaukee-Chicago trip with her. I'm looking at various other cars now and can't decide on what I want. I might just end up with another 2010-2012 Prius V. Some interesting pictures with my 2010: Day I got it: Put 20% tinted windows on 5 days after: Put my snow tires on Lake Superior in the UP Somewhere in central MI Camping It's been a great car. I've put a lot of miles on it, have had no issues, just regular oil changes every 7000-7500 miles and back on the road.
Car is great, no issues. I just switch cars about once a year. I spend a lot of time behind the windshield and like to switch things up. Plus it keeps me from taking a humongous hit on a car. This one has been great, I might get a 2012.
My rental is a 2013 Lincoln Mkx for the week. First tank was 22.07mpg. Wow. Back to looking at Prius.
Camry Hybrid is a nice car. I sat in a Avalon XLE on Sunday and damn that was a very nice car. It comes in a Hybrid too Mike
I test drove the Avalon hybrid a couple months ago. It was a very nice car. I just don't want to spend $35k...
Mike, is there a thread somewhere or a place online that otulines the main differences between the 2? Other than bumper, tail lights, power seats (worse I think navigation), and daytime running LED's, I don't see any other changes.
12+ have HUD for the AT package, instead of the IPA. I use my HUD all the time. I have speed and HSI on the button, and navigation directions when active.
Exclusive: 2012 MY Prius - Changes and Additions | PriusChat basically outlines the changes but the part about the backup camera on trim level 2 is wrong. You need to go to 3 for that. You can then compare those trims to Toyota Vehicles : Toyota Announces Prices for 2010 Prius / Toyota. USB got added later on later build 2010s but you needed III or above w/at least the nav package to get it. Also see 2012 Prius Minor Refresh Press Materials | PriusChat. Front end changed a bit too, see .
Everyone beat me to the answer I don't have my computer along on this trip so it is hard to research things No worries with the awesome members posting links Mike in Cinci... Mobile on my SGH-i717
Cincinnati? That storm get to you yet? I had to change my hotels tonight to stay a bit south just in case. Picking up another 2010 Prius V Saturday morning staying in the fam.
Radar is showing storms up by Mansfield and Fort Wayne. Nothing even south of Columbus I put that anti rain spray on the windshield before we left home expecting heavy rains but so far just humid sunshine 90F today Good to hear you stayed with a Prius. Gas will never go down enough to justify a thirsty vehicle when you drive so much. We have a 2013 RAV4 on this trip and it has been running 27-31 mpg on a few tanks now. Not bad for a SUV Next week we are running Ohio and Michigan. Kentucky and Indy the week after that. No rental Prius at Hertz Minneapolis unfortunately Safe travels Mike . . Mobile on my SGH-i717
Not getting the 2010 tomorrow, but flying out in the morning to pick up a 2012 blizzard pearl Prius. I'm excited for some of the updates over my 2010!
