So how will it work with the Friday service project at the park? Do we meet at the park or at the hotel first? Do we have to pay the parking fee? Will any tools/supplies be provided? Can I take some fruit for my travels home?
I'll be sending out an email over the weekend about particulars for the service project. The basic answers are: We'll meet at the park No parking fee; just bring the parking pass we'll be emailing next week. Tools & Supplies will be provided, along with water and such. Eat lunch beforehand, though. Not sure about the fruit, I'll have to ask the park for you.
In general (not just for the Friday afternoon service project), it would be nice if the parking attendant had a list of conference attendees and was instructed to let those individuals' vehicles in without charge, thus giving the attendees a chance to register and obtain a paper parking pass.
We will definitely make sure that the park employee at the entrance kiosk has a list of attendees and a few extra parking passes. Thanks for reminding us, Pat.
