I suspect it's not smoked, but just reflecting the shade cloth above and the ground and/or its sibling below and to the side. I see the NZ market gets the same wiiiiiiiide licence plate mount that we get.
The LED head lamps look very dark when they are not on and the reflectors are smaller so it is all a little darker behind the glass of the headlamps during the day

You just increased their immediate population by a whopping 33%. And that man in the background is a large percentage of the city too
This was a surprise rental in Portland, Oregon this past May: I had requested a compact car for a five-day vacation trip, but all they had when I got there were big SUVs. I told them no way was I going to drive one of those, and they said, "Well, we do have a Prius". My own Prius is a C, of course, but I've driven the liftback before, so I was quite happy to take it. I took this photo halfway up Mount Hood, just short of Timberline Lodge where the road ends at an elevation of 5,960 feet. The poles are so you can find the road when it snows; they're about twelve feet high... I only put about 300 miles on the car, but even with the mountain driving I managed just under 50MPG.
Hendy Woods state park in NorCal. On our way to glass beach in Fort Bragg. Fantastic drive with some well paved windy roads... wish I had some coilovers tho Galaxy Nexus ? 2
