just curious if anyone here on Priuschat has already installed the led high mount stop lamp and if so knows how to install it and perhaps can post some instructions here. I just placed an order via the Revier website and is expecting it to arrive soon. thanks
I just saw the GB for it. I can't really tell what the difference is on the lamp. Is it just brighter than the stock version? Looks like there is a noticeable bar going across from left to right vs just the dots going across left to right.
Did you misspell the brand name? Revier? I did a google search for 'Revier high mount stop lamp' and found nothing. Nor did I find anything for 'Revier.' Myself and others would appreciate it if you could actually reference your question with a link so we know exactly what you're talking about rather than assuming we know everything that can't be searched for on Google. I'm pretty sure, I didn't misspell the brand name http://revier.co.jp/products/prius/index.html you need to add the word Led in your search try Revier led mount lamp
Can someone please tell me if there is another thread that discusses this Revier 3rd brake light? I bought one back when we had the group buy. I am having all my electrical stuff hooked up/installed right now, and I am trying to determine if it is worth installing it, or if I'm better to just keep the stock, tinted one I have now.... Thanks!
A major complaint regarding the Revier 3rd brake light is its light output is weaker compared to stock. I didn't install mine for this reason and I'm still running the stock light covered with red film from rvinyl, which is a pretty good match to the Valenti HCs.
ok, thanks. I tried searching the forum for an hour, just using "Revier" for my search term, but was only pulling up stuff regarding various lights for the front of the car. I thot that tube in it looked cool, but didn't know if it just looked cool "in the pictures" on the website....and if the light was not actually all that exciting when mounted on the car.
ok. It matches perfectly as it is right now, but I had just thought that light bar/tube on the Revier might be cool. I don't wanna go dimmer, though.
My 3rd brake light was not dimmer in any way. It matched my tail lights perfectly. I had the spec d smoke tail lights with full led. It was a great addition and carried the theme .
