Hello everyone. My lovely 2005 had a front end collision and the insurance declared it totaled. Bummer I have been looking at a 2010 package 4, blutooth, leather, nav, smart key, JBL, etc. It's a lease return with 34,000 miles and is spotless. Barcilona red. Perfect in and out. Is 22,500 a fair price? Carfax says no accidents and it is certified with a warranty and 4 new tires. 30,000 mile service has been performed. I have all service records. Clean title. -Paul R. Haller-
I don't know the fair price. However, I have that exact car (dark grey interior) and paid $30,000 for it out the door back in March 2010 (when the Prius prices were suppressed due to the bad press over unintended acceleration and with a $750 rebate). I love my car.
I still see my former Barcellona Red 2010 Prius IV advertised on my dealer's website for $19,800. Certified with 49k miles.
For CA, I'm guessing probably yes. But do a search on cars.com or carmax.com and see what they are asking around you for similar cars because the price here in FL (or anywhere else in the country) is worthless for you.
I got my 2010 Prius IV (No Navigation), 4 new tires with 36,000 for $18,900. Purchased in Wisconsin about 1 1/2 months ago.
If it has the sun roof package then I think it's close to a good price but OP didn't indicate it did. My former 2010 Prius IV did not have it.
I went onto the web and looked around before buying. It seems a little high but it is exactly what I was looking for and in the right color. It's on the high side anywhere but here. For the SF bay area it's about average. It sure is in great shape not a nick or scratch anywhere and you could eat off the engine bay. As it turns out, my son worked a while for a car detailer. He knows his work and the materials used. He said it was detailed by him because he always buckles the back seats and leaves a pattern in the carpet after shampooing. He also deodorizes the car too and that leaves behind a faint recognizable smell. Small world. Thanks for the comments. -Paul R. Haller-
