What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

I painted my roters.

 

What I'll be doing tomorrow... Pulling all the mods off my '10 Prius I just installed JDM window visors on it too!! Thats gonna be a pain in the arse to remove.

They should be finding their way back to their new home over the next few months on a '13 .

 

It's for traffic jams and pit stops. And it has all my music. Thanks for the concern though

 

Mouse-proof your '13 before you put those mods back on.

With less than 1% of mouse-proof Prius out there, you probably don't have much to worry about unless rodents are a problem in your area. Otherwise, get a couple of cats.

ive got a cat in the house. i do have off street parking, but no garage.

anyway, in an effort to not thread jack i added AVS window visors today. getting it tinted this weekend and will post pics then.

I like the eye lids! Did you need to shave part of the headlight to get those to fit like Rodney did to his?

 

What I did today: Returned my car to stock form

So it took me a total of 7 hours from start to clean up (clean up only involved dumping everything inside of the house and putting the tools back in their box. I spent another hour and a half organizing the parts together.

Not gonna put the full parts list but here is a summary: Cusco braces, Lowering springs, STB, swaybars, led lights, horn, window visors, side molding, pedals, remote starter, navi bypass, LED lights, wheels, floor mats, engine covers, etc.

The bottom door moldings and the window visors were, surprisingly to me, very easy to remove. For the visors I used a steak knife and carefully pulled away and down on the visor while very carefully.... cutting away at the foam tape. Came off within a minute. The bottom moudlings came off easy with some gentle prying between the back of the moulding and the door while using a pop-it remover.

 

I hear ya, Sean! I love this look too. It's the shaving of that bump that makes me nervous. But hey, it can be done. Thanks to Rodney for doing the R&D on this.
