Yakima's website says to use the Q Towers for 2012 Prius v, but that they do not have a recommended solution for the 2013 Prius v. I believe this means that they haven't checked it out yet and not necessarily that they checked the Q Towers and they don't work. So my question is - have any you tried this combination yet? I've got other components of the Yakima system and would like to be able to just get the Q Tower pieces if that is all that I need.l A second question is - do you know if the short antenna toward the rear of the roof is easily removed or not? You can unscrew the antenna. Not sure about the Q Towers, though...I did not thing there was any change at all between 2012 and 2013 but I got the same thing from a Yakima salesman last week. He felt the same as you - that it may well use the same Q-clips, but they have not yet been tested.
I just checked the Thule site configurator and the part number for the attachment to the car seems the same. I would assume the same for Yakima....
