I've unscrewed the antenna and know how that comes off, I'm wondering though how easy it is to remove the base of the antenna. I'd like to pull my satellite radio antenna through that hole instead of through the hatch. I'm thinking if the base is pulled up I can get to the headliner area and just route through there. Is the base stuck on with some 3M type adhesive or are there screws. Didn't see any screws on a quick glance, but I suppose they could be under the headliner too, which I don't think I'll go there. Anyone know or have a manual they can look at? Ken
Doesn't sound like anyone has done this, no responses.... Anyone have access to a body service manual that can look this up? Ken
It is held by a nut hidden by the headliner, as those that have had the base damaged have unhappily determined.
