What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Wrapped the hood with 3M 1080 this weekend. Also upholstered the door panels in Clazzio leather

 

are you going to write a DIY for the door panels It looks awesome !!!!!

 

I put all the stock wheels back on. The Forgestars and tires have some balance issues that need to be fixed. Not sure if its the wheels, tires, or a bad balance

Also, I'm ordering some 225s to replace the 215s, I don't like how the lip of the wheel is so exposed.

I hope that this shop can fix the balance issues and I can mount all four of these wheels back on the 11th.

I like the door handle covers and I'm considering them as well. I also think the rear hatch door is missing something, maybe a thin trim piece along the bottom.

Thanks man! I didn't take pictures of the process (my bad!) but i'll be more than happy to answer any questions anyone has. Maybe I can write something up this weekend.

fyi I got the Clazzio leather from HAWAIIANBUILT here on PC (thanks bro! ).

 

On my wish list... but i think i'm going to go with the REMIN dash kit first.

Looks great~! I'm jealous, because yours is 2010 which is Plug&Play and mine is not.
Did you get the 3-in-1 led too? And did you also swap out the folding motor into the US mirrors?
And how long did it took you to get this done?

haven't tested them in the dark yet, do the jdm switch illuminate in the dark ?

 

yes, I had to swap out the folding mirror out, except to the Canadian mirrors, there were some adjustments that needed to be made, took my installer roughly around 8 hours ><

 

I thought I remember seeing a thread where someone had an illuminated switch. Just wondering if yours did or not. Looks good though UCSMFU!

 

Agree on the hatch door observations...

 

Installed Proxel electomagnetic rear parking sensor. Uses metal tape mounted inside of bumper.

 

nothing special.....

had the 40K service done.... and the dealer broke the engine splash guard where the oil filter access is.... (the panel came loose when I was at the freeway and before I could stop the part that came loose broke off and I was not able to save it... )
