battery load when not in use

    Does anybody know how load is on Prius v 12v battery when power is OFF ?

    This is good information.
    Once my 12V battery dies on me, I will remove the internal bracket and put in Optima yellow top battery 55amh.

    You can also get a excide battery that replaces the OEM.

    If you leave your v (or any car) in a secure area (garage); do not power lock it. When you do over an extended period of time, the security monitor set up is a continuous discharge. A few weeks, no big deal. Several months will leave a dead battery.
