Control of iphone with AUX jack? Also update software for 2010?

    I have the 2010 V model and mine is an early one so i dont have the USB port. But i do have an AUX port in the center. Can plugging my iphone into the AUX port give me the same control over songs that i get when using BT?

    Also i noticed that the newer prius models have a better software it looks like. The bluetooh audio in one i saw allowed you to not just play and pause but jump back or forward songs and also change playlists. Is that something that can be updated or no?

    AUX doesn't allow you to control anything, it's just a stereo mini-jack. All control must be performed using the iPod.

    Ok we'll then ill stick to Bluetooth at least I can jump songs. Its easier as iPhone is usually mounted on the windshield for GPS.
