I just checked Dynamat prices and seems pretty cheap mod.

but problem is the labor cost.

how much am I looking at if I want to Dynamat the doors and some floor?

    with Labor of course

Have you checked the competition (ebay, amazon)? Much lower costs. I haven't tried any of them.

Good incentive to learn how to wrench on your own car! You may be able to do your doors for your budget in materials. Shouldn't be too hard. Once you get your feet wet there, you could move onto more difficult areas.

Mrstop is right man. This is a perfect opportunity to play with your new toy. I have a DIY on how to remove door panels and like you said, it's a cheap mod. Personally, I did my car and it is100% worth every penny. As the costs suggest, it's labor intensive but it's not a difficult job to do

The floor too? That's actually a very reasonable price considering all the labor involved in removing the door panels, seats, and carpeting along with the expensive dynamat. I've done two cars so BTDT. Luckily my new cmax is well insulated and is very quiet.

Spaz's instructions were quite good, did mine (back doors only) in about an hour. Some of that time was taking the one door panel back off because I forgot that I removed a bracket that holds the panel on with a screw. I would do just the doors first, one because they are easy and isn't too expensive for the four. Then see if you really need to do the floors. You might just like the way things sound with just the doors.

Crazy to revisit this thread... but how well did these mods hold up over the years?
