I found a 2011 Prius Four with 3k miles. It has leather seats, solar roof, nav and back up cam. Clean carfax. Dealer purchased as a demo car in 2011. They are asking 26,300. What is a good starting price to offer? I don't want to pay more than 22,500 for it. Any input would be great. Thanks!
Good luck with your negotiations. I think the dealership has this particular car priced right for a dealership. KBB has the following prices: Private party: $25,090-$26,390 Dealer: $28,290 Certified: $29,240 Something tells me that you won't come anywhere near $22,500! Especially since it was a dealer car with such low miles. Like I said, good luck. I hope you can get a fantastic deal. If this is your first Prius, you will enjoy it. Something wrong here. They'd use a 2011 car as a demo through May 2013? And put just 3,000 mies on it over two years? Something doesn't smell right.
Ibthiught Manager said it is the finance managers car that he uses. It was their 2011 bells and whistles demo that never sold. So he uses it as his company car.
