Hello All, My name is Chi and I own a Gen 3 2010 Prius T Spirit. I live in London UK. I have the Xenon lights and Jet Spray on my Prius and I just dont get the Jet Spray. Under what conditions is it actually useful?
Chi, use the jet spray whenever you feel the need to relieve yourself. It's lots of fun and, under the right conditions, gets immediate attention.
I think where it is needed is with led head lamps in the winter time, they run cold so snow and dirt will not clear on head lamps. Just squirt head lamp to thaw ice and wipe clean.
In very snowy/icy conditions where road grime covers the headlight lends is when you should use the headlight washer. There are also times that typical road spray will coat the lens and drastically reduce light output. They tend to make quite a mess so you would only really want to use them in really foul weather.
