I have successfully paired my new HTC One to my 2013 Prius 4. I do have an issue with the phone book and wanted to know if others are experiencing the same. First, it appears that the phone book has a 1000 contacts limitation. I have about 1400 so I wish that the head unit would receive a firmware update in the future to accommodate about 2000 contacts, which I've seen supported on other vehicles. Not a deal killer, just a frustration. My main issue is that when a call comes in or looking at my history of calls, only the phone numbers are showing up. I can see this being the case with any remaining 400 contacts that exceeded the 1000 contacts limit but this happens to contacts successfully stored in the phone book. I can scroll through the address book, see that they are there, but in the call history they only show up as phone numbers. Is anyone else experiencing this issue with an HTC One or other android device? For what it's worth, my iPhone 5 works correctly. Thanks in advance! Scott
I had the same issue with my 2011 Prius paired with my HTC Hd2... Now with HTC One it's the same...So it's not phone related issue...it seems like buggy unit's software. I haven't come to a solution yet... Anyone experiencing this problem with a non-HTC phone?
I've tried everything to no avail and I can't seem to get this to work properly. Anyone out there with a different android device that is experiencing the same issue?
It's dependent on the format that the phone sends to the vehicle. I've seen a BB phone that sends +'s on all numbers not match up with the contact name as one example. Since it's happened on two HTC devices, it could be related to HTC's Bluetooth implementation.
