Cooper GFE tires LRR(Greater Fuel Efficiency) does someone knows if its +or- mpg over stock tires

    Hello, was wondering if anyone has info on the Cooper GFE (Greater Fuel Efficiency) tires. Tirerack has this info on these brands below but was wondering if the Cooper GFE would be + or - in MPG compare to the stock Goodyear Integrity? Any info will be great

    imo? doesnt even matter. if you are off the integrities you are safer. My mpg has dropped on the coopers so far but I have only about 400 miles on them so far towards break in. now at 48.2 but I am safe!

    Just Had Cooper GFE installed this week. not too many miles on them yet, driving to So. Jersey next week. Total price install w/ wheel alignment 450.00, going to have them filled with Nitrogen next week

    I'd stick with a 78%N2, 21%O2, 1%Ar blend, myself.

    We have had the Cooper GFE w/ nitrogen on for 2 months, great results so far. MPG's are always 49-50 range.

    That's the same blend I use. I like it so much I put a tire filling system in my garage that delivers it.:rockon:

    I still want to know how they remove the air from the tire before filling with N2 so as not to pollute the precious N2 fill. I doubt they put the tire in a big vacuum chamber. Can anyone explain how they do it? Think about it before spending your money on this scam.

    I don't have this problem because my tires are made of orange peel oil and thus have antioxidants built in!

    That takes care of the oxygen, but don't forget about those other gasses especially that dangerous inert Argon! :)

    Anyone still have these ? How did they do with handling ( wet / dry ) , ride , noise level , wear and gas mileage ?
