Lurker for a while first post Just got a C 2 months ago and put 8k miles on her and tired of the hubcaps just wondering if anyone knows how the wheels and tire size will handle and MPG effects.... on a C 185/65/R14 14X6 ET 38 looking to buy these soon let me know what you guys think
Depends on a lot of factors. Are the tires LRR? Are the wheels heavier than stock? What is the wind speed of an African Swallow?
Before I bought I would try them on car if possible to make sure 14" wheels would fit and not hit brakes.
I would fist identify if the wheel even fits. Secondly I would check to see if there are any good LRR tire options in the size you need (24" diameter). A smaller wheel even if it is light is not going to help fuel economy if you don't have a fuel efficient tire.
