I went with an iPad and this headrest mount from Rocket Fish. It holds the iPad very snuggly allowing it to be rotated and tilted. I like the fact that I can just unhook it and take it with me leaving nothing to be stollen from the car when parked. The base simply clamps onto the posts and can be easily moved between cars. On long trips I add a Seagate Wifi hard drive with 500GB of movies, pictures, mp3s that the kids can pick from.
