Hi all...new here...having a continual issue with my Samsung Galaxy Note staying paired to the car's bluetooth. After about 20 minutes, it disconnects - the call remains active but i cannot hear them, nor they me. It is definitely my phone, no doubt about it. From what i understand from the service advisor there, some androids can have a problem keeping connected.....we went over it all and the car's bluetooth is NOT the issue. It is my phone that is to blame.

My question here is THIS, For those of you on AT&T and have ZERO issues with your phone staying connected to the car audio, what phone make/model do you have?

I have tested my husband's iPhone and it seems to stay connected perfectly. I would prefer to stay with an android BUT if i have to go iPhone, I will.

    Thanks for reading.

You might want to check, if it really loses connection, or if the phone just routes the call to its internal speakers instead of the bluetooth connection (this can happen if you answer the call by pressing on the phone screen instead of the steering wheel control).

I always use the steering wheel control. The phone actually drops the connection completely. We have already done a check of the phone and the whole system to be sure. It is the phone. I just want to know what phones people are using who don't have this problem.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note II that I've paired with my Prius C and it runs fine. The biggest issue I've run into so far, is on rare occasion it won't talk to the car radio and I have to shut off the radio and reboot the phone to get them talking. I'm also running Cyanogenmod 10.1-NIGHTLY on my Note II though, and that might influence the connection issues slightly. In the month I've had them paired, I've seen this issue twice, and both time the notes for that day's nightly build mentioned a change to the Bluetooth drivers. YMMV.

Heh me too, I forgot about that. Im also running a modified version of Cyanogenmod. Its rare, and usually happens when I don't fully start the car, the phone connects, then I FULLY start the car, the radio turns off for like less then a second, and the phone is like "Wth!?"

I had to restart my phone everyday for the bluetooth to connect to the car when I was running 10.1, also.
