The Chinese, 'miniVCI' hack provides a pirated copy of TechStream Lite. It is not what I would call 'mission' quality but I was able to record data in my morning commute: It appears to record the data to a memory array and then stop. You have to save the file and start the recording again. Still, it keeps all of the data in a single file that Excel can assemble into the chart above. It is by no means a great solution. For example, I need to also record MG1 torque at the same time but that comes from a separate ECU. I don't know if there is a workaround. Bob Wilson
Did you set up the Snapshot function? This function allows you to record for 5 sec. up to 60 min. and then prompt to save to a file. You can then use the built-in Graph function and playback what you 've recorded. If you want to combine PIDs or do additional calculations, the file can also be exported to Excel. Yes, starting from V7.xx.xxx, there is a function called Dual Data List. You can record 2 ECUs at the same time. Vincent
I did not see that function but I wasn't looking. It would be useful to adjust for a high ethanol fuel and avoid the fuel-trim error. Bob Wilson
