I agree, I don’t believe it is an insult either. My father had a car that was his “baby”; he worked on it all the time, got to the point we never drove it. Now it just sits in a garage. Maybe my view is skewed by this and the fact that I’ve never had enough disposable income to buy a car that wasn’t for moving me and my family from place to place. I know some would consider them extensions of themselves, but I’ve never needed a car to complete my self image. Great responses everyone, thanks again. As with my last poll there is no right or wrong answer.
I don't see mine as an appliance, instead I'm beginning to see it as just another car, excitement has worn off and it still gets me where I want to go, just like any other car.
