simple plastic bra for Prius 2 2013

    I have been looking for a standard bra for my new Prius 2 and can not seem to locate one. Coolgan sells one but the hood cover portion obstructs the catch release for the hood (located up and to right of latch). Dealer does not seem to know there is a change from 2012.

    Any other manufacturers have it right? Would like to avoid the work involved in the clear films if possible.

    You're looking for traditional vinyl bra? Those went out as they do more damage than good.

    I am looking for the vinyl type. Had one on the 2007 and it seemed to work well. Cleaned it regularly when washing car and it did no noticeable damage.

    Whether you like it or not, vinyl bras are now obsolete. Get the clear bra.

    3M now makes a spray on bumper protector similar to plasti-dip. It ends up looking similar to those Invisible cell phone protectors they sell at mall kiosks.

    Yup, and it has 1-yr service life and offers 80% the protection of a professionally-installed clear bra. The cost is $25/can on Amazon. Google 3M Paint Defender.

    Very neat. How's the optical clarity of the 3M Paint Defender spray film compared to clear bras?
