I have a set of (4) OZ Superleggera wheels which are no longer made. They are 5x100 and 17x7. Offset is +35 or +40 I believe. They have the OE Toyota sensors in them, and Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires which are GreenX (LRR) with 80-90% tread. The wheels were painted poorly when I got them, so I'm in the process of having them painted Winter Gray Metallic. As of this post however, they are currently stripped to bare metal. So if you'd like to have them bare, in order to paint them your own choice of color, have at it. I have $800 invested in the wheels/tires/sensors. Make me an offer. I'm guessing shipping will probably be $20 per wheel only, and $30-50 per wheel with tire (not sure of weight). I do know the weight per wheel is less than the OE Toyota 15" wheels, either steel or aluminum! I don't have a pic of the actual wheels but here is what they look like: I am also selling my OEM Toyota L1 120V Prius Plug-In charger (EVSE). Make offer for that too, I don't know what they are worth. Or just PM me to tell me the value lol I don't care. I've heard they were expensive (~$1500 retail from the dealer but less for a used one of course). I haven't touched it since I built my own Open EVSE.
Do you have picture of the actual wheels? Please take new pictures with a piece of paper with your screen name & current date next to the wheels to help verified ownership. Is it still bare metal? Any curb rash, bend, or crack?
Ugh that will take a while. They are not in my possession. Bare metal, the center on one wheel where the center cap goes was cracked, and repaired, I was told.
The wheels are super light for a 17x7" wheels. I believe they are approx. 15lbs or so. The OE Prius and CT200h wheels in the same size are 24lbs.
trentofdestiny - Take your time, I'm not in a rush. Just wanted to get a good look at what I'm buying. Hope I'm not come off as being pushy or unreasonable. Fairly common procedure on many forums. F8L - Thank you for the info. It's the main reason that draw me to these wheels actually. Small fun fact, Leggera mean light (weight).
NP. Just make sure the offset is at least +40 or more. Anything less is going to stick out too much for good aerodynamics and reduces the benefit of light weight.
Found this pic on my Facebook from several months ago. I'm sure they don't look any different now...I'll leave the thick layer of dust up to your imagination
Would you mind sharing how much your EVSE sold for? You're welcome to PM the details to me if you'd rather not share on the open forum. I have a new permanent station in my garge and may entertain selling our factory EVSE. Thanks, Jesse
Wheels are still available, and still unfinished. Tire machine cone broke the center of one wheel. Had it machined off, new ring machined, welded on. Cost $200 so now I have $1000 invested and probably going to lose money on them but it had to be repaired in order to sell them...
