Has anyone successfully taken over a lease in the past? I'm considering using one of those sites to list my PiP and see if there is any interest in taking over my PiP lease. Toyota wants $6,800 to break out of my lease, so obviously I need to find someone who wants to take it over, or stick with it. There isn't anything wrong with the car, I just would like to eliminate the gas engine completely, since this is my 2nd vehicle, and have no need for the 600+ mile range (sounds weird typing this :lol. On a side note, if anyone here is looking to take over a lease for a Pearl White 2012 Prius Plug-in Base in awesome condition (will throw in new HD dash-cam, with the optional rear view lens, and Husky floor liners), there is one in Syracuse, NY Perfect for someone who doesn't want a full 36 month lease.
$379/month, have about 5400 miles on it, 12,000 miles/year, 3 year lease. Got it in September 2012, so there are about 28 months left. If you are truly interested, I'll stop driving it right away, just so you can figure things out, without getting more miles on the car. The car just had the 5K mile checkup done, personally applied professional grade polish/sealant (Zaino), not a single thing wrong, plus detailed fuel records are available as well if you like tracking that kind of stuff.
