Hmm...I wonder if the bad FE can arise from new hybrid owners who don't know how to drive in a manner that would maximize FE? I know there is a fellow Prius owner here that traded to a Cmax that reported good FE. There's this radio commercial for a local dealer that claims the Cmax gets better FE than a Prius. They obviously meant the Prius V, but it's easy for those not familiar with the Prius line to misinterpret that as the Prius liftback and it's technically false advertisement. BTW, you know you posted in the wrong section right?
