Replaced a 2009 Mazda 3 with a 2013 Prius 3. I'm loving all the tech and actually looking forward to my 160 mile round trip commute from now on. Never thought I'd own one of these, but after renting one a few months ago on a business trip, I knew I had to have one. I was set on getting a Prius c, but my wife talked me into the lift back. Anyhow, glad to be a part of the club.....
Thanks, I feel like a kid who got a cool bike for Christmas and I'm anxious for the the next chance to go ride.
Take it slow the first 500 miles while the car breakers in. Try not to go over 65, go the same speed for a Long period of time, and avoid sudden breaking. Get used to the LRR and make sure to stop the car because people are not used to the brakes
Much of my commute is highway through the mountains, so I was planning to not use the cruise for a while in order to practice the pulse techniques. I think once I get through the first tank I'll start tracking on the fuelly site and see how it goes. I found the video in the mileage forum and it makes sense, I'll just have to learn to resist the urge to overtake other cars and go with the flow. Thanks for the warm welcome.
It's a great car. You will love it. If you have a smart phone download Entune and pair the car and phone via Bluetooth Drive it in good health !
