Got a 2013 C3 today. Black. Beautiful. Amazing price. In love with it already. Test drove both the Gen3 and the C, and the C was much more enjoyable.
I didn't know that people do pics, LOL. It's a black C3 - looks like the other ones what makes it special is that it's MINE now.
Everyone should do pictures. They are all the same while on the lot... but once they are owned they get imbued with a little bit of the owners personality and that makes every single on of them different.
Got a great price on it, too, but I'm a little hesitant to post details because there are some very friendly folks from dealerships that are members of this community, and I don't want to drive business away from them.
Welcome! You're going to keep loving your car! I'm coming up on a year and 20,000 miles soon and I still love it.
Borrowed my mother's 2007 Corolla sedan for a day to take it in for servicing for her and it was my first time driving a another car in over five months. Wow... I was missing my c so bad and reminded that I don't miss my old Corolla at all. The one and only thing I think is better about the Corolla is that the hill climbs are nothing to it. Everything else, argh. It's interesting that its higher power/weight ratio is only noticible for the hills. In low speed driving the thing feels like a lumbering tank compared to the perky c and the c is so much smoother. Also when I was overtaking people in 60 km/h (37 mph) traffic, I was surprised to find the Corolla really sluggish to react compared to the c which just pounces. And the engine still running while sitting at traffic lights now just feels really really weird. I was also even noticing how much I prefer the speedo display up on the dash compared to a dial buried behind the steering wheel. I honestly don't understand why the motoring press always seems to think this is such a bad thing compared to dials. I've been flying interstate a few times recently and didn't miss car at all, but being in a different car for just the day, it was a huge relief to give it back and retrieve my own.
Congrats! You are going to love it. I've had mine for a little over a month now and it has changed a lot (to fit my personality like ztanos says). Do not miss my Toyota Matrix at all and I loved that car. Rob.au is right, they feel like tanks in comparison.
