I have had my prius v for about a month now and all of a sudden this light is now on when the car is shut off. Is it suppose to be on and what did I push that made it come on.
It is the immobilizer light. Completely normal with the car shut down. In my 2010, it flashes every couple of seconds. Does yours flash? Read all about it in your Owner's manual.
Yes, it flashes. It never did before so that is why I was concerned. I finally found it in the manual. I was surprised it was not on the quick reference guide. Thank you for responding.
