Yes, the fog lights will fit but the 10-11 fog light bezel will not. U will have to buy the lower bumper grill that has the fog light openings.

Most of the newer Toyota's use the same fog light so u have several options.

U can read this thread for help:

ADD fog light on 2012 Prius 4 | PriusChat

Since you don't need the bezels for the 2012 application, you can search eBay for Yaris foglights. Some of the kits that have the foglights, wiring harness and switch are less than $50. The Yaris kits have the same foglights, just different bezels, which you won't be using anyway.

To those that purchased their foglights from PriusChat, does the glass outer lens have DOT or SAE stamped or molded into it?

I just had one of these kits installed on my Prius. I am not that mechanically inclined, so I paid a local shop to install them for me. The owner of the shop was a Master Mechanic at Toyota for 15 years before starting his own repair shop. After the install, he told me he was EXTREMELY impressed with the quality of the kit (never would have known it wasn't OEM). I am very pleased with the end results. Everything looks and works great. I highly recommend these fog lights!

Hi xliderider. I just checked mine. They have SAE molded into the glass outer lens. I just added a posting about these fog lights (see below). I am very happy with these lights!

You need to get the lower grill with the foglight openings from the five and then you can buy any foglight kit for the 2010 Prius or Yaris. Most of the foglights from the Camrys and Sienna vans fit as well, just look for the foglights with 4 mounting tabs, 2 on each side.

You will use just the lights, harness, relay and switch from the kit. That's why you can buy kits from other models, because you aren't going to use the shrouds from the kit that are specific to the car since you will get the lower grill for your 2013.

There's a thread in this forum already. GasSaver1 just installed foglights in a 2012 or 2013. See post 481 above for thread link.

Installed these on Sunday. They look good. Took about 2 hours as I had a smashing headache and getting under the front of the car made me nauseous.

Quality product with easy to follow instructions. A+

Just got mine from PriusChat Shop. Only took a week to come in. I'm going to attempt this weekend. Lots of useful information here, especially about that brown wire. Wish me luck!

Thanks! Installation went well, no problems at all. I chose to put the relay on the left bolt for the inverter coolant tank. I didn't want the relay to be upside down, since I often wash under the hood with soap and water. I still have to adjust them if needed. I did notice that the oil filter door is missing. I believe there is a TSB about this somewhere.

THEY ARE NOT FOG LIGHTS!!! I bought the "Fog Lights" from PriusChat and they are like weak driving flood lights. A real fog light has a beam that has about a 130 degree horizontal arc and is narrow vertically so it will not reflect light back at you from the fog. It is designed to be low to the ground. Driving lights are designed to light the road in front of you at a distance. These lights do neither really. The bulb is not that bright and the color is very yellow. However the unintended result works for me. Since the lights are not too bright people do not flash their high beams despite the "fog lights" being on all the time (I leave them on.) They do help to illuminate the sides of the road and lower tree limbs etc. This broadens the lighting of the road which is what I wanted. With a proper bulb they would blind oncoming traffic though. When you look at the lens on the so called fog light you will see there is no way it can focus the light in the appropriate slice to be a proper fog light. I bought them with the HID headlight upgrade kit which has a 5000 degree bulb. This bulb is a bad temperature/color. It is too blue. The result of having both the colors of light together is that you can never tell if someone is coming around a corner by seeing their headlights. I am looking forward to the day the HID capsules fail and changing the temperature to 4000 degree bulbs but until them the set up is FAR superior to the poor lighting from the factory headlights.

I'm planning on ordering these soon, but I'm unclear on one thing.
Do these trigger the dash light when the fogs are turned on?

No, the dash icon or indicator does not come on. You have to look at the foglight switch to see if they're on or off. If you wire them properly, the switch will illuminate an indicator on the switch when the fogs are on.

AFAIK the Prius doesn't have a fog indicator on the dash so it's just the switch

Is this true for the trim level 5 as well that come with the OEM foglights installed from the factory?
