I'm thinking of buying a PIP, but I would have to drive a long way to get one as I am outside of the sales area for PIP's. Does anyone have experience dealing with Boch Toyota? How did the sales process go?

Although I did not buy from them, I found Acton Toyota (in Mass.) very helpful.

acton really knows their hybrids. be very careful with boch, they have a history of over promising and under delivering.

I am not looking for anything in Mass specifically. I am considering Boch as they appear to have the best pricing.

:)I found a dealer (Jan 2013) in Northern Virginia that had the special incentives on their few remaining 2012 Prius Plug Ins. I'm not a impulse purchaser, but with limited availability, it was quick decision time. I verified their competitive price quoted online, got a total price out the door on the Prius I chose, placed a $1000 deposit to hold one day. Drove up the next morning, inspected the car, verified the terms, and drove it home. Worse case, I would have wasted my time, but with the deposit on a credit card, I would have gotten a refund. In retrospect, a smooth, quick deal, got the car I wanted, at a great price, 0% financing. My 24 hour experience with that dealer was perfect, regardless of anyone's opinion. Happy then, happier now.

    mind sharing the price ?
I'm in MA and thought the Bernardi dealership was great. I let them know upfront I was in no hurry as I had old cars that still ran but if I got a great deal I'd do it. There's a big incentive in MA now so after all that I paid 28.2k plus 0% 60month financing which I feel is worth an extra 2k. Factor in the Fed tax break and I'm thinking the plug in was 25k.

'appears' is the key word. however, i do recall someone on here saying they got a great deal at boch. it all depends on how many they have on the lot and how desperate they are to move them.

Suggest go to the thread "Price paid on PiP?" and I believe several here may have purchased at Boch. You can search the thread. Are you in MA? Let us know the state you live in.

I visited Boch but ultimately did not buy from them. I bought mine from Expressway Toyota in Dorchester. I thought they were good. They didn't have my color so they ended up trading with Boch.

I've been further, and the price seems right. They usually run PIP's used for what a Prius 2/3 runs here with comparable mileage on the odometer.

prices are generally pretty low here on hybrids, especially with low gas prices.

You could always get a great deal on my used Advanced Prius :) it's a 2012 with 11,300 miles on it, 11 months old, its the light blue... comes with door edge guards, lower molding trim, all weather Toyota Matt's and cargo Matt, and a full sized spare tire. You'll pay less for it than a basic PiP (but you'll have leather seats, DRCC, 3 years (2 left ) of entune, the heads up display etc) . I'm only selling it because I've moved onto a Tesla Model S. PM if interested.
