Now that Enginer is out of business, anyone tried this kit? They seems to be the original designer of the Enginer kit (from what I read)... Sylvain
Enginer /MD Tech/S Fountain Electr All of these are a muddle currently. They also have respect websites. Six months after I installed my Enginer V6 they stopped selling on EBay. In USA may be a few Enginer dealers in Michigan that may sell some product/svc/repair. The RFE HV packs are not available either.
I am under the impression that DIY kit for Prius has lost its momentum with the arrival of EV cars (with current huge discount for the leaf for example)...
Fair statement The enhancement aka supplement DIY Lifepo4 kit market is limited by some of these factors: Energy density Weight Quality non domestic mfg cost range complexity Also even most EV's today range is 100 mile or less. The Nissan Leaf being more favorable than others
I think the most critical component in Enginer kit is the converter which is not easy to find / repair. All other part are quite available: charger, battery cell, etc.
