Led turn signals question

    Some websites recommend a pair of load resistors for LED turn signal lights. Will it work or burn out faster if I don't get load resistors?

    The load resistor is merely for the flasher relay. It will hyper-flash without a standard load. LEDs take a less load then the OEM incandescent bulbs.

    The alternative is to replace the flash relay with one the supports LEDs. The problem with those, is they won't hyper-flash if you have a burned out bulb.

    Here is a pic of the relay in my Gen II. I believe Toyota pretty uses the same relay in multiple vehicles.You can get them from JDM, pop it it, LED away!
