Saw another nice fixed up Prius today on 71 south. Smoked tail lights, lowered, nice wheels, blacked out Toyota badge. License plates says "ZVW30"

This is something that's discussed to death on all car forums, it's a beating a dead horse subject. My believe is simple, if it is in public view then it is fair game. If you are afraid to be located then don't register your car at your home address (there are many ways to do it). I never hide my plates, because I've taken proper precaution.
The one thing is so called "public view"... for instant moment (I never hide my licence plates as well - BTW - it's against the law in my country), another story is to freeze the picture and to publish it around the world... ... and later - running around on the streets with Anonymous mask on the face and screaming of the citizen's privacy rights.... They get a workout thats for sure. The one with the bra and mirror covers drives over 50,000 miles a year. Thats a lot of rocks and bugs causing damage to the paint. I havent noticed any difference in mpg.
Maybe you should try the clear bra next time. Hardly noticeable and does the same thing to protect the paint.

Was behind this Prius in my Prius this weekend in Oxnard. The license plate frame says "As a matter of fact I do own the road" LOL!!!
