Hey there everyone! I was wondering if anyone with a greater sound system knowledge than myself could recommend any amps for the prius c? I'm in the process of installing a nexus 7 into my prius c2. I have the tablet and a decent dac, and I bought a set of infinity kappa speakers. I'm looking for something that will give me a crisp clear sound.... I don't listen to crazy loud music or have any desire to thump down the street in my prius blasting jay z. I'm just looking for something that won't suck up a ton of power and will give me the clear sound I'm looking for. Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated
Due to space limitations, I had a powered 8" sub installed under passenger seat. Sound Ordnance™ B-8PT 120-watt compact powered subwoofer at Crutchfield.com It gives a nice adjustable low boost but don't expect to be rattling the car next to you. It will thump and vibrate my rear view of the back window and I can definitely feel some thumping. And my gf loves riding in the passenger seat (way better than the washing machine, jk)! Cost $150 exclusively through Crutchfield and had it installed for $150 locally. I have a C1 so no rear speakers (which I wanted to add at the same time) but the installer says the rear of the stock unit has some funky male plugins for rear wires so I'll tackle that later.
