Had my Prius for a month now and I completely love it! However, this morning I pulled up to a stop light and in the other car was a Gen III Classic Silver Prius. I felt like a cheap clone . Checking around Craigslist I found and bought a set of these tonight. OEM Lexus 16 X 6.5. Just a minor scrape on the edge of one rim and included the caps (and 225 tires LOL). $200.00. Just need to find some good LRR tires. I can't get Mich A/S in 205 X 16. Very happy now
Are you sure they will fit your Prius? I thought those wheels have a bolt pattern of 114.5x5. The Prius hatchback is a bolt pattern of 100x5
You are right! I just measured bolt pattern (should have done that when I went out). Because the guy didn't even know what size diameter he had, or model number, I was getting all sorts of conflicting info, including it having a 5 X100 size. Oh WTH, I can use adapters. Cause of the offset I'll be OK.
If I use spacers/adapter I will run a 20mm offset. 25mm for adapter -45mm wheel = 20mm total offset. Wondering how that will be?
Wheel fitment is confusing. It's alway best to buy a set of wheels that fit, versus a set you make fit. Wheel bore, offset, and bolt pattern are variables you need to consider.
With the stock offset and width of those wheels, you might be able to pull it off. However, don't lower your car too much.
Or, you could sell the wheels for a profit and use the money for a set that fits. Better than trying to adapt these to fit.
