I am in the market for a used Prius and found one locally. It is: 2009 Prius Touring 58,000 miles Package 6...leather navigation The exterior is in great condition as well as the interior. Oil changes were done every 5,000 miles. They have all the service records and the 12 V battery was replaced and fuel injection flush done at 50,000 miles 6/12. The water pump recall was done 1/13 and the steering shaft recall 12/12. Is $15,500 a good price? He was asking $17,000. What else should I look for?
Where are you located? Prices vary a lot depending on the market. Do you have a 2012 now? Best time to buy is when gas is cheap.

If it doesn't have 16" wheels (which look very different than the 15" wheels which are alloys w/plastic wheel covers), it's not touring. Very often, we hear of non-touring Priuses misrepresented (sometimes intentionally) as Touring.
Yeah, it's a touring. It has the 16" wheels and larger spoiler. The people that are selling it bought a Leaf and also have a Prius V. Going to take a look at it this Sunday.
that is exactly what i paid 2 months ago for a 2009 touring package #6 with 47.5k miles in perfect condition in NC and it seemed like a pretty good price after a lot of research all over the east coast and south central so i was pretty happy with my price. just my $0.02
