Hello! I have not been able to determine if the JBL comes with the 2013 Persona. It makes a difference in my decision as to which Prius to get in the next 10 days when my current lease expires for my 2010 Prius III. Thanks for any input.
I test drove it this past weekend, and it comes with JBL (so says the salesman). I thought the sound system sounded great...much better than I ever expected. Of course, I'm not really an audiophile...Plus, I loved the darker accents and stitching.
...and the Black Cherry color is really nice. I think I am going to pull the trigger and get one next week. I'll miss my Barcelona Red III though.
I doubt that Persona has JBL speakers. If if it did, then the only difference between the non-JBL is amp and speakers? With the right source, the non-JBL sounds pretty good.
I think the Persona audio is pretty good... not as good as the JBL that came standard in my 2010 Prius III. It's a little strange that the Persona is supposed to be an upgrade from the three but does not come with the JBL. Oh well, I still really like my Persona alot!
The Persona does not come with the JBL sound system, the only upgrade I would have liked. Other than that it is a great valued package and looks really great in and out.
I didn't find the JBL system worth it and glad I didn't have to pay for it like in the trim package 5.
