    Just thought I'd update everyone on the wonderful private life of Danny, since I'm sure you're all interested. Tonight I became engaged to a beautiful blonde young lady - we're both very excited!

    Not sure what this means yet for my May Prius plans, but we'll see how things pan out with finances for the wedding and all.

    I just thought I'd update my little online family on this big news!

    Hey let me congratulate you and your bride to be on your decision. I't isn't the end of the world if your Prius is delayed to say May 15th. Or just tell her it's your wedding present to yourself. She'll understand :)

    Congrats Danny....but, had you consulted with me I'd have advised getting the Prius BEFORE getting engaged...along with a trip to South Beach...oh, you did that one!

    Good advice. I felt for my son-in-law when he was presented with choices about the wedding, and my daughter was ernestly seeking his opinion, and he was in a panic. Verigated or regular leaves on the plants? Verigated or regular?

    Not a single guest commented on the fact that the plant leaves were ... wait, not even I remember, and I paid extra for them! Must have been varigated.

    If you can make it through the wedding planning, then you can probably make it another 50 years.

    Oh yeah ... Congratulations! Here's to many years of happiness and success in your marraige.

    I had a budget and stuck to it, so really I wasn't stressed out all that much. I found the perfect dress early on and everything else fell nicely into place. We chose to get married at a bed and breakfast just outside of New Orleans. Instead of a one day affair, we stretched the activities throughout the weekend. Our guests were able to get their own suites at the same B&B, which made for a really fun time and allowed us to spend a lot of time with our families and friends before we went off on our own.

    I just got engaged to a beautiful blonde young lady too! (one month ago).

    Good luck with the wedding planning....try and get your Prius as soon as possible! Because those wedding costs will keep adding up and up and up.

    LOL...me too. Couldn't wait to actually have a weekend to myself (ie: no appointments or meetings w/vendors) after it was all over. :D
