    Look Carefully!

I think it's the silver valve stem caps; I have them too. They have a lower the Cd, increase your MPH, improve your MPG and can be seen from a greater distance at night. All for $1.99 from your dealer's accessory department.

Wildkow, try removing your trim rings; I'm glad I took mine off! Are you going to spring for aftermarket leather?

Thanks for posting your Prius year/model and location. Good luck with your new baby.

Depending where you live, I give you a few months before some kids steal those caps for their bicycles.

I removed ours for appearance reasons. They just "look" better IMO.

Tell me about it! I left my Galant VR-4 parked for a few days at the airport last year, only to find all 4 chrome caps missing when I came back! Last time I do that "upgrade".

removing the trim rings may look better but it will increase your drag according to Mike (ifixem) the Prius Mechanic at Toyota of Olympia.

Yes, but by how much? Is it even a measurable amount. I mean if you want to get that picky, Toyota could have gone with an internal antenna, instead of one on the roof. That would be more aerodynamic.

Take the trim tings off, it looks much better.

Are they legal? France now outlaws reflective valve stems because of erratic light dispersion at night that could interfere with oncoming traffic.

It's okay if the sides are chrome/silver but you must paint or blackout the very tip.
