Is it possible at all? I looked at answers to several similar question, but could not figure out exactly. My prius is 2007 pkg 6 with jbl speakers. When I register device, there is only option of hands free. Even my pda (LG GM730, windows mobile 6.1) shows hands free only. Does prius 2007 support streaming music using bluetooth?
I use a tunelink, it plugs into the lighter socket and connects to the aux port in the armrest. Then it connects to your phone by Bluetooth. You set the stereo to aux and you can stream from the phone to the stereo via the tunelink.
Thanks guys. Essentially it needs a workaround. Direct audio connection to car bluetooth is not possible.
Thanks! I too have been looking for a solution to this problem. I will have to check out both of these. iPad ? HD
I was hoping to do that too, but couldn't figure it out either. I'm not sure but I don't think my '05 has an aux input for the radio. Just got the car a couple weks ago and the wife drives it most of the time so haven't been able to spend a whole lot of time with it so far.
I still have my 2007 Prius as a second car. Not being able to stream music drives me bananas when I use it tho.. I was wondering if I use a Bluetooth streaming aux hookup, how does that work with the current hands free phone set up since the streaming device is also hands free phone ? Do you have to make or answer calls with both devices or does one automatically override?
