I have had my plug-in for 5 days now and I am very pleased with it. I have noticed that there are 6 Daytime running lights on either side but only the top 4 light up on both sides. anybody have similar condition? are the two botton led's just dummy.?
The ones which 'do not light' are not LEDs but just things that look like more LEDs. It is working as designed and nothing it wrong with your DRLs.
Look closely when the DRLs are off, and you should see a yellowish patch behind just the upper 4 lenses. Those are the actual LEDs. The bottom 2 lenses, or 1 and half lenses on mine (regular Prius, not a PiP), lack the yellowish part.
I retired my ATM when my kids left the nest. But I keep hearing now that college grads are still living at home because they can't get jobs. Glad my kids and I are of a certain age.
