My mom and aunt will be visiting me (in the U.S.) from Japan, and I am supposed to pick them up. And the only vehicle that I have is Prius C. I figured that I can put one suitcase at the back and one in the hatchback but the cover used in the hatchback is in the way. Is it possible to remove the cover without cutting the cords? Thanks in advance!
Yes it moved up but I want to remove it completely because I cannot put the big suitcase in. I am not sure if I got the direction... but I will try! Thanks! I like your username!
Yes. This might be one of those times where it is best to look at this in your manual. Some of the advice given above applies to the liftback and isn't relevant to the c. The c has a rigid cargo cover, so it cannot be rolled up. Strictly speaking the correct process (as per the manual) is to unhook the cords, then push the cover to disengage the anchors, then you can lift it up. The manual has diagrams with arrows which will make this clearer. The system isn't that strong, so you can probably tug it out in other ways that don't strictly follow the above.
Thank you! I have been trying to find it on the online manual but I had no luck. I will try this tomorrow! Thnks again!
