Ok I just installed the following Motegi 17" RT7 with 205/40 tires Custom Exhaust / with removable silencer Classic Soft trim leather BT tech under plate 0 mileage loss A little quicker off the line as well
I'm sure it could be possible. Of course, I'm sure 50 other people will post saying it's more likely for the Prius to start flying... Car looks great by the way. Wheels look really nice with that color Prius.

correct no los im MPG That was a BIG concern of mine. The motei's with a 205/40 profile tire weigh about the same as the OEM 15 rims. I am going over this weekend to weigh the stock rims and the new ones just for the hell of it. Most of the rims including the Scion rims weigh WAY more than the 15 OEMS. That is without tires. For my setup including tires, rims, install came to about 1032.
How about some details on your custom exhaust, what kind of muffler did you install. Is it loud? bernie B)
Looks pretty nice! Are there any suspension mods out there to drop the car an 1" or so? I just don't like how high the car sits above the tires...
On your exhaust system, did you install one of those systems from Sigma or were you more creative and designed your own exhaust system? How does your system effect your mileage and how loud is it? Is it loud at freeway speeds?
What is the outside diameter of your tires? I think 205/40/17 are smaller than stock. The stock tires are 24.5 inches. Smaller diameter tires will tell the computer you are travelling farther and going faster than you really are. Are you sure your mileage is the same?
