i plan to trade-in my honda fit for a prius C2 just wanted to know what is a fair price for the C2 or should i get the C3 instead? (i live in nevada)
there's another thread on here with tons of pricing people have paid OTD and what not.. I just can't seem to find it to link you but take a look.
I got mine at dealer invoice. Between the 2 and 3 all I can say is it was worth it for me to get the 3 just for the Smart Key and the Navigation was a bonus. Also got the wheels and sunroof which really make the car look and feel more luxurious.
I just purchased a new 2012 Prius C 3 moonglow with alloy wheels for 20000, (21500 OTD including TTL) and 0% financing. I am very pleased with it. I don't use the phone apps etc, but I do like the navigation and the smart key function. The steering wheel is awful. The 2013s have a wrapped wheel, which would be much nicer. I have a Wheelskin on order, hopefully that will make things better. Love love love my car so far!
You will have to let us know if you can get it for that price! I thought what I paid was excellent and the 0% financing was the icing on the cake. Good luck!!!
Not to change the main topic, I have a wheelskin on my other car, holding up great after several years. Took about an hour to lace it, I'm a novice but looks great and got rid of my sun peeling steering wheel because of the Florida sun. The leathers still in perfect shape with no sun fade.
$20,699 plus taxes and fees for a 2012, Prius C, Trim 3, with sun roof purchased in SF Bay area yesterday (March 16).
I purchased 2013 Prius C (two) in Magnetic Grey in SF Bay Area for $19100. Plus DMV and tax, and $80 doc fee, OTD came out to $21035
Geez... I paid 22,858 for my 4, here in Georgia. If it were me, I would have made the 15 hour car drive for that price difference. I know I got a great deal on my 4, but there were 2/3s for under 20k here, also. Granted, all 2012s though.
yeah. after reading this thread, i realized that i could have gotten a top end for the same price rather than my one. oh well. thats what i get from being in NYC. 22k was the cheapest i could find. i went around 4-5 dealers and asked 2 of my dealer friends. they said you wouldnt be able to get it lower than 22.5k. i got it for 22 cause i payed it all. i wish i had allthe nice features of the 4. sigh
Yeah, it included the extended maintenance and warranty. He even threw in the floor mats and the window tint. Like I said, I know I got a steal. He was more interested in me getting the maintenance and warranty for $2500 with $3500 off the price of the car, then he was selling it at regular price without the maintenance. Having great credit and being willing to walk is amazingly effective.
the only thing i got with my car is free 2 year maintenance including road side assistance. also got the floor carpet along with the rear bumper protector. other than that its stock.
$21,691 in early February for a 2012 C2. Manufacturer window sticker was $20,999 - dealer add-ons (door edge guard, window tint, body side moldings) brought that up to $21,988. State sales tax is 8.25% so the price of the car was $20,039, tax was $1,623 and titling fee of $28 (yes, that doesn't add up - it is a dollar short of the price because I rounded all figures). Registration of $349 (paid at DMV). 300/100/50 insurance with a $1K deductible on comp/collision was $346 for six months. I purchased through the dealership internet department using the Costco Auto Program. If I had to do it again I wouldn't waste my money joining Costco (which I did just for this program). I'm not so sure the "deal" I got was any better than I could have negotiated on my own. I did get a $200 voucher from Costco to use for parts/service which makes me wonder how much they made off of me.
Yeah thats a good deal you got there. I paid 23,100 OTD here in Fairfax VA for my Moonglow C4. I had to endure 2 hours of their BS just for them to throw in floor mats (should come with the darn car IMO), Cargo net (shouldn't have to pay extra for these), and wheel locks. I had to tell them that another dealer had lost me on the C3 because they were too cheap just to throw the extra $40 for the cargo net. I would have paid $22,500 OTD for that lol.
